Walter Meegan (1860-1944) Oil on canvas signed to lower left. "Scarborough in the Moonlight" Image size 34.5cm x 24cm frame size 50cm x 41cm. Painter of moonlight scenes. He was an itinerant artist working in the north of England believed to have moved from inn to inn paying his bills by presenting the landlord with a painting.
Good condition with slight gilt loss to frame.
