From the estate of the late Roy Barrett, motoring artist. Over the past 25 years, Roy Barrett has built a sizeable reputation within the motoring world for his endearing watercolour paintings, which feature classic motorcyles, cars and other transport subjects, set into delightfully captured scenes, with a strong nostalgic flavour. A reputation which has made his original paintings and limited edition prints eagerly collected and sought after by enthusiasts worldwide. Although known for his motoring paintings, Roy has also painted many other subjects including: figure studies, landscape, railway, aviation and rock and roll inspired themes. Formerly an Art Director with the BBC, being involved in the production of programmes including All Creatures Great and Small and Howard's Way, Roy has put his experience in telling stories with pictures to good use by using paintbrushes in place of TV cameras
