Group mounted as worn - 1939-45 Star, Africa Star, War Medal + MID, GSM GVI with Malaya clasp (Major J Horrocks REME). During WW2 he was captured and served as a Prisoner of War (101150 Capt J Horrocks RE) POW No 1344 Oflag 79, this was a POW Camp for Allied Officers located at Waggum, near Braunschweig, Germany. He was Mentioned In Despatches L/G 8th July 1941 for services in the Middle East. He retired 1960 with Hon rank of Lt-Col. (4)
