CORRECTION - ITEM IS WILLIAM IV PERIOD ASSAYED 1836  A good and heavy late George II period hallmarked silver hot-water jug of spreading baluster form; the hinged lid with a flower-head finial with a high arched handle with ivory insulators and the body decorated in relief with leaves etc., raised on conforming flower-head style foot, maker's mark B P, assayed London 1756 (22cm (highest point to tip of thumbpiece on handle, approx 705g)
