An unusual large and impressive fire ant hill in 2 pieces art cast created by pouring molten aluminium in to an unused colony which solidifies forming a detailed representation of the colonies tunnels. The 2 pieces are from the same ant colony and the beautiful natural formation displays very nicely, a great collectors piece and talking point. The first piece has a length of 36cm (14"), a width of 24cm (9.5") and has a height of 15cm (6"). Has a weight of 1.25k (2.75 pounds). the second piece is 36cm in length, has a width of 22cm (9") and a height of 20cm (8"), the combined weight of the two is 3.28 kilos (7.23 pounds).
