An early-mid 20th century Papua New Guinea tribal powder horn. The horn with rusk central container, with a hand woven rattan carry case, featuring wooden bead and shell decoration, featuring a wooden mask of a face with cowrie shell eyes. Painted in hues of white, black & red. With carry string tie on to top. Measures approx. 35cm wide, 30cm long.
