A rare Rockingham pastille burner formed as a pedestal font with pierced dome-shaped cover having a flower spike finial. Left in the white with gilt banding, with an applied trailing ring of flowers to the rim and festoons around the base. Printed puce griffin mark and Cl 2 in red c.1830-42, 13.25cm.
Cover restored. Some gilt wear.
