A lovely original watercolour on paper painting titled 'Howth'. Features the titular Irish coastal landscape scene with gorse flowers. Rendered in soft shades of blues, greens and yellows. Portrays a very calm scene achieved through neat brushstrokes. Signed 'M. E Griffith' bottom left and dated 1921. Housed in a gilt frame behind glass. Foxing to paper portraying age and time.
