A 19th century Zanzibar trader's chest of hardwood construction, with copper and studded brass decoration, lifting lid and three drawers under. Width 107cm, height 49cm, depth 51cm.

Some minor loss to decorative beading. A few studs missing from the symmetrical decoration. Locks missing. Escutcheon bent slightly to top edge. Drawers fitted for but missing handles. Some copper loss to wrapped decoration on right lower section. Carry handles do not match. See extra images.
