CRICKET AUTOGRAPH BOOK/COMMONPLACE BOOK etc. An interesting piece which begins with twoi cricket collections each on one leaf. 'Sussex' includes H,L.Hammomd, W.L. 'Tich' Cornford and others. Then 'Middlesex' icluding perhaps most interestingly, E.H. 'Patsy' Hendren. There are some obscurer autographs (lacrosse/hockey teams etc probably universit ones) later. In between are a number of illustartions, watercolours and drawings bith topographical and humorous by a number of hands, probably sent as gifts. For e.g. a very convincing pastiche of an illus. by E.H.Shepherd from 'Winnie-the-Pooh'; pencil portraits of ols film stars; dogs; 'landscape near Lucca'. etc. A very nice object.
