A German pewter tankard, early 19th c, with vase finial, the lid engraved and Lehmann... 1835, the body with the implements of husbandry in shield shaped cartouche, 23cm h, underside scratched "looted from Bergermeister's house Windhoek German South West Africa 1915"
Scratches and wear but good overall condition, small spot of solder but apparently not a repair on underside of base
