A cast bronze or brass plaque depicting Queen Elizabeth I with crown and orb sitting in state, on 15 inch circular board, this is purported to be a gun muzzle tompion from HMS The Queen Elizabeth, launched in 1913, and the one of the first battleships to carry 15 inch guns, a similar example sold at Christies in October 2002, and this has been in the vendors family for a number of generations each of which was told that this came from a 'gunship'.
