DESCRIPTION:

This is a atmospheric painting showing a landscape of old Plymouth. Many of the landmarks no longer being there. For example the gas Canisters and chimney.

It depicts Diogenes (Edward Mckenzie) named after the greek philosopher who was a early example of the influential movement of the cynics. Perhaps the most practical of the different branches of philosophy.

The artist painted Diogenes many times and a very important person in both their lives.
