A Brown Westhead Moore & Co majolica fruits vase or jar, lacking cover, circa 1875-80, ovoid form with small ring handles, the overall turquoise ground with relief green foliage and damsons, impressed 'MOORE AND CO' and '1243' to base, 31.5cm high Condition:Section missing to end of green stalk and the stem on one green leaf. Smaller losses to the side of the fruit, including glaze chips to the brown branches, a larger chip to one leaf and small chip to edge of one brown fruit. Hairline crack visible to the underside of the base.
