An 18th century Continental enamel novelty snuff box, boldly modelled as a pug's head, the hinged cover painted with a huntsman and his hound in a sylvan coppice in tones of green, black and pink, to verso with a lady in a landscape in tones conforming, bowed thumbpiece, 8cm diam; an 18th century enamel rounded rectangular snuff box, the cover painted with figures in an en-grisaille landscape, enclosing a half-length profile of a gentleman of fashion, 6cm wide, c.1770 (faults, lacking mounts) [2]
