A 19th century Japanese brass cloisonne on brass vase of archaistic baluster form with scroll handles standing on a spreading foot, decorated in polychrome enamels with lotus scroll and mythical beast designs on white ground, drilled base partially obscuring the mark, Meiji period (1868-1912) 18 cm high
Stands flat with some small dinks/bruises and losses to enamel, brass tarnished, hole drilled through the base
