1844 Victoria silver Crown, cinquefoil edge stops (S 3882, ESC 281, Bull 2562). Obverse: left-facing 'Young Head' portrait with the date (1844) below and 'VICTORIA DEI GRATIA' around. Reverse: crowned shield of royal arms within a wreath of olive branches, 'BRITANNIARUM REGINA FID: DEF:' around. Edge: incuse lettering which reads 'DECUS ET TUTAMEN ANNO REGNI VIII*'. Weight: 28.24g. Diameter: 38mm. Grade: aVF - around Very Fine, minor contact knocks and scratches.
