black felt, single panel crown with rounded peak and rear brim.  Leather edging.  Gilt cruciform crown mount with gilt spike.  Brass USMC side mounts.  Brass eagle, globe and anchor badge.  Leather sweatband.  Paper issue label dated 1902.
