Victorian novelty silver mounted moulded glass scent bottle in the form of a kitten, by William Hutton & Sons, London 1894, the cover now detached (originally hinged), original stopper (badly chipped), on a moulded clear glass base, height 9cm

The hinge is broken and cannot be repaired by simply putting a pin through it, it needs to outgoing barrels. The head has small dents at the back. The nose is worn to a small hole at its tip. Original eyes. There are some scratches around the inner silver mount on the base. The stopper is damaged. Hallmarks are clear on the neck and slightly rubbed on the head. A couple of small sharp dents to the silver mount on the neck. The glass base is good.
