A Copeland & Garrett armorial fruit service, early 19th century, comprising a comport with shaped rim on knopped stem and spreading foot, 18cm high, with four oval dishes each with shaped rim, each 28.5cm wide, each piece hand-enamelled with a coat of arms to the well, surrounded by a cell frieze and exotic fruiting floral sprays, printed and impressed marks to bases (5)
Each piece shows surface wear commensurate with age and use. Most pieces show crazing throughout, along with minor chips to the edge, small firing faults to the underside, no other obvious signs of damage nor restoration.
