A French gilt brass mounted, ivory inlaid and penwork decorated amboyna and ebony card table, c1870, the quarter veneered top in running scroll border centred by two roundels of the head of a man in gilt brass gadrooned lip, the conforming tablet centred frieze with festoons, tapering turned legs with capitals and brass castors, 75cm h; 48 x 89cm
Some very slight lifting of the veneers in the centre at the top but not significantly damaged, the gilt tooled leather trimmed red baize lined interior stained and with loss to baize, veneers undamaged
