A VERY FINE IRISH 19TH CENTURY SILVER HOT WATER/MILK POT / TEA POT, decorated all over with scrolling foliage decoration, with an engraved Latin phrase of: Manus Haec Inimica Tyrannis over a dragon standing on one foot. Latin translates to: This hand is the enemy of the tyrant. Nice clear hallmarks; Dublin, date letter of ‘W’ for 1867. Maker’s mark rubbed. Weight including handle: 389grams. 17cm tall.
