A Belgian 6 shot 7mm Collette double action pinfire revolver, c 1865, round barrel 107mm (4¼”), the octagonal breech stamped “V. COLLETTE, LIEGE”, with ejector rod on the right and large knurled screw head which allows the barrel and cylinder to be quickly removed, Liege proved, with foliate engraved cylinder and frame, folding trigger, and bag shaped butt with chequered walnut grips. Near VGC and Crisp Condition, retaining much original finish. Plate 34 £300-350.
