Obverse: right-facing draped bust of Catherine II with 'Б ∙ М ∙ ЕКАТЕРИНА ∙ II ∙ ІМП ∙ IСАМОД ∙ ВСЕРОС around. T∙И on truncation and 'СПБ' below for St Petersburg. Reverse: double headed eagle holding orb and sceptre, wearing a collar of the Order of St Andrew with a shield on its breast. 'ӨΛ' divided below with date (1774) above and 'МОНЕТА ∙ РƔБΛЬ ∙' around. Edge: milled. Weight: 21.50g. Diameter: 36.3mm. Mintage: 2,770,000. Grade: VG - Very Good, lightly toned.
