A framed 18th century French silk damask embroidered panel possibly a fragment from Chasuble or similar religious garment. Embroidered in floral and scrolling design, using polychrome silks and metallic threads, 27cm x 22.5cm

The ivory silk has split and stained in places and the floral embroidery faded and metallic threads tarnished to be expected for its age.
