The Perold Insignis 2012 embodies the apex of Shiraz winemaking, curated from select vineyards. From dry-farmed conditions, concentrated grapes underwent painstaking hand sorting to ensure the best fruit is used. The result is a wine that strikes a perfect balance between oak and fruit purity. Time on lees for 18 months contributed to aromas of fresh cassis, fragrant tobacco, delicate violets, and hints of cloves. The well-structured palate is wrapped in dark fruit flavours with velvety ta nnins and a seamless finish.
