A novelty silver snuff box by William Comyns & Sons, London 1972, realistically modelled as a pointer dog with chased fur effect decoration, the hinged cover opening to reveal a gilt interior, 3.4cm long, weight 27.6gms
Very good. No thinning, splitting, denting or signs of repair to the head or cover. Cover is slightly stiff, but opens smoothly and closes with a snap, sitting flush, Gilt interior is largely in tact. Pieces shows general scratching and wear commensurate with age and use.
