Japy Frères, Paris, a mid-Victorian blue and white porcelain urn clock having an eight-day duration movement striking the hours and half-hours on a bell with an outside countwheel, the backplate stamped with the trademark for Japy Frères, Paris, the ivorine dial having black Arabic numerals, blued-steel fleur-de-lys hands and decorative centre, the urn shaped case with blue and white c-scroll and floral decoration with gilt-metal handles, feet and base, height 45cm.
