1819 (Mar 25) Entire letter from Cape of Good Hope to England "p. James Selkirk" with superb "SHIP LETTER / HASTINGS" (S.4), charged 1/7. A surprisingly scarce ship letter handstamp, rarely seen as it was used in 1819-40 when most letters landed at Hastings were India Letters.
