WW1 British military trench periscope, brass with beech handle, maker marked "R & J Beck Ltd, London", dated 1918, serial number 28834, Mk:X. Overall length 595mm.
Has two layers of paint present, brown followed by a dark green overpaint. Optics are very dusty and the image is blurred. Glass has a chip out of it. See photos.
