E. Dobell, Hastings, an 18ct gold half hunter pocket watch, case number 76639, hallmarks for London 1882, signed pendant wound three quarter plate movement with English lever escapement, numbered 76639, case width measures 47mm. Total weight 91.3g. Together with a bloodstone and carnelian set swivel fob on a black fabric strap with 9ct gold buckle slide and ends.

â?¢ Movement is not currently functioning and is at fault. The balance moves freely at time of writing, crown winding is slipping â?¢ Dial has some marks, some can be seen under a loupe when under a direct light source and there is some marking around the subdiary seconds and hour and minute hands apertures. There is a spot inbetween the subsidiary seconds dial and the three o'clock position which looks like it is in a small area of surface damage, there is a similar area on the three o'clock position. There appears to be a hairline crack on the subsidiary seconds dial â?¢ Hands have some noticeable marks, some surface rust is apparent â?¢ Case has noticeable marks and scratches. Some small dents to the edges, the most noticeable to the bottom left. There is some wear to the enamel chapter ring on the front cover â?¢ The watch glass has some scratches and marks, there are some under the glass, potentially caused by the hands â?¢ This lot does not come with box or a copy of the original manufacturer warranty Please note that we cannot guarantee the working order, timekeeping or water resistance of any watches sold in our auctions.
