John Halifax, Fleet St, London; 18th-century mahogany cased 8-day longcase clock, the five pillar movement with a brass broken arch dial with strike silent indicator, silvered chapter ring and secondary dial at 12. O'clock and a date aperture at 6. O'clock, and chiming the hours on a single bell. 50 cm wide x 22 cm deep x 220 cm overall height.

John Halifax is recorded as working in Fleet St, London in 1758 on page 337 of Brian Loomes's Watch & Clockmakers of the World.
