Medals (3) of 6713 Sapper William John Williams R.E. (S.R.). 1914-1915 Star, British War Medal 1914-1920, and Allied Victory Medal 1914-1918. A resident of Holyhead, Anglesey. Enlisted on 2nd September 1914 into the Royal Anglesey Engineers Special Reserve and mobilised the same day into 20th Siege (Service) Company RE. Landed in France on 13th December 1914. Later served as a platelayer with the 3rd Railway Company Royal Engineers. Demobilised 14th March 1919.
