marked, of octagonal form, the underside in pale blue guilloché enamel with decorated upper and lower bezels in white and red enamel, the piano-hinged cover depicting an evening scene with a kneeling gentleman kissing the hand of a lady before wrought iron gates, with putti observing, decorative thumbpiece, the interior with an engine-turned plate over the powder reservoir with an associated three-position slider, mirrored interior of cover, marked 831 behind the mirror. 6.2cm wide, 3.1 troy ounces gross
