A large late 19th century Art Nouveau French brass hanging chandelier / candelabra having a series of ormolu arms cast in the form of dragons with further scrolled and floral detailing throughout. The centre a hand painted ceramic oil burner section with brass frame to hold a white glass shade. All supported by decorative pierced brass mounts with central chain driven rise and fall mechanism. Unlike many this examples has not been converted to electric and is in original condition. Measures approx. 135cm x 65cm diameter.
