MOSTLY WILLOW CRESTED/HERALDIC PORCELAIN PILLAR BOX MODELS - GREAT BRITAIN: A collection of attractive items each decorated with the armorial crest of a town or city on top with rim and some details picked out in gilt. One group (14), 8cm tall, with a whimsical message "if you haven't time to post a line here's the pillar box" added on one side and bearing KGV cypher. Second group 9.3cm tall (8) with no cypher but embossed GR with the shape of the letterbox door and information plate visible, and one other plain except for crest on top. Willow produced heraldic china in the first quarter of the 20thC. One item cracked but others in good condition. EXTREMELY FRAGILE SO COLLECTION RECOMMENDED. (23)
