Railway. B.R. Steam. A collection of approx. 300, mainly postcard size, black and white prints. There are a few small contact size prints and some colour prints taken from slides included. The majority are ex LMS locomotives and there are some ex LNER, Southern and GWR locos as well. A couple of preserved locos noted. They are from a variety of sources including: Initial Photographics, S.J. Broome, F. Merton Atkins, Photomtaic ltd, P.N. Groom, R.K. Blencowe, Real Photograph Co. Ltd, R.S. Carpenter Photos, J. Davenport and some original darkroom prints. Approx. half have captions. No copyright. Sample illustrated.
