A worksplate ANDREW BARCLAY, 1625 of 1919 from a standard gauge 0-4-0 saddle tank new to Sutton Manor Collieries Ltd. St. Helens, Lancashire. Named ALLENBY. Taken over by the National Coal Board in 1947 and transferred to Ravenhead Colliery in 1956 and then to Haydock Central Workshops in 1961 for storage. Scrapped on site there by José K. Holt & Gordon Ltd in June 1965. Cast brass, 16¾"x11¾", the front repainted. (Postage Band: C)
