WW1 interest - 798 Pte Harold Temple 10th Bn Lincolnshire Regt. Killed In Action 1st July 1916. (1st Day Somme) On the Thiepval Memorial. Born Brigg/Hull. Lived Glebe Road, Brigg. Political Assistant to Sir W Alfred Gelder MP for Brigg from 1910. A vast amount of letters sent from Harold to Olive Haddrell of South End, Stevenage, from c17.10.1913 to 9.1.1916. (Olive died in 1983 having never married). A fascinating lot. (Qty)
