A large Qajar moulded pottery tile, Tehran, Iran, second half of the 19th century, the underglaze polychrome decoration on cobalt blue ground painted with an extravagant royal banquet featuring two kneeling princely figures in the centre of the composition, with a row of ten courtiers behind them either side of a small aperture showing a distant palatial building, and musicians and dancers in front of them within the border of birds and scrolling vines, 52 cm w x 38 cm h c/w moulded and ebonised hardwood frame, 575.5 cm w x 43 cm h o/a
