An Indian Miniature Painting of Krishna with Radha and Cattle, 19th Century.

An Indian miniature painting depicting Lord Krishna playing the flute beneath a densely foliated tree, accompanied by Radha and a pair of white cattle. Radha, adorned in a flowing red lehenga, holds a vessel while gazing affectionately at Krishna. Krishna is rendered with blue skin, traditional yellow dhoti, and ornate jewellery, with a radiant halo encircling his crowned head. The composition is completed with peacocks in the foreground and a serene pastoral backdrop.

With frame: Approximately 38 x 31.6cm

Provenance: Private collection from a distinguished W London lady.
