A collection of approximately 150 standard-size Hampshire postcards of Cosham and Wymering, including 12 of Purbrook, a few of Drayton and Farlington areas in an album. About 26 of the cards are later, but desirable, views (including two of Portsdown Park) by Southsea photographer JA Hewes, 7 are similar cards which say ‘M Ballard Postcards’ on the reverse; and 15 others are reproduction images of the Cosham/Purbrook areas on postcard. There are also around a dozen postcard size photos of postcard images in this lot. The cards are mainly in good condition but some have minor creases and other faults.
