A mid 19c English four glass clock by G & M Simons, 49, King Square, London. The single fusee movement is chain driven and has a rectangular silvered dial with Roman numerals and moon hands and bears the makers name. It is contained in a glazed rectangular mahogany case with flat glazed top, beneath which is a band of dentil moulding. Below the dial is a band of ogive moulding and a stepped solid plinth. the clock stands 25cm tall overall.
The case has some wear around the keyhole for the front door and a couple of scratches n the front door and base but otherwise is in good condition. the dial and glasses are in good condition. The movement seems complete and would probably run.
