Five 19th Century nursery plates each with a transfer decorated central roundel within moulded borders, comprising three titled examples The Favourite, The Pride of the Village and The Fisherman's Children, one with pointer dogs and the last with a rural scenes, the latter two stamped Patterson & Co, diameter 17.5cm. (5)
All have small firing imperfections and minor blemishes, occurring from production. There is some patch staining and rubbing to the lustre on the borders. All ring dead but no apparent reason why.
