A pair of late 18th century Sevres ormolu mounted porcelain candlesticks, in the manner of Chappuis L'Aine, decorated with panels of exotic birds and flowers reserved against a gilt green ground on ormolu feet, 17.5cm high overall

Height of actual vases 15.25cm, these are fixed onto the ormolu bases with some sort of black glue like material, both vases in good honest condition, some very slight rubbing and marking to the gilding particularly around the extremities but no real damage noted, some oxidisation to the ormolu feet.
