OCEAN MAIL CLERKS: A set of stamps with barred numeral hs's of Mail Clerks used on the Cunard Steamships 'Asia' (A92, 2), 'Java' (A93, 1), 'Africa' (A95, 2), 'Europa' (A97, 5), 'Arabia' (A98, 2), and 'China (B61, 3). Mainly on Nova Scotia QV 12½c (9, SG17), but also 5c (2, SG12) & 8½c (1, SG14), and Newfoundland 6d orange (SG14, 2-margins - just) cancelled "A95" & New Brunswick 1c Locomotive (SG7?) cancelled "A97". Varying quality but an interesting seldom seen grouping. (15 stamps)
