probably American, with a gilt brass and ivory hilt, with Eagle head pommel and Eagle cross guard. The blade with the remains of some etched decoration and vestiges of bluing, the blade with fullers to the point and flat back. With a gilt brass scabbard. 93cms long, Blade 78cms long
