Beautifully presented and hard bound with gilt titles, and signed by the author and Alex Kellerman, Sec of the SA Rugby Board, this A4 326pp volume cannot have been widely printed. It contains scholarly research on a wide range of historic games including a section on rugby and football, with a huge bibliography. He was 68 when he got his degree and he died 15 years later at 83. Excellent
