A Chinese porcelain famille rose 'Horses' snuff bottle, Daoguang (1821-1850), of flattened globular form and painted with eight horses, with carnelian coloured stopper, iron-red seal mark to the underside, 6.5cm high
Mark to the underside legible but rubbed. Staining to the interior and around the neck. Metal mount surrounding cabochon stopper corroded and spoon detached. Foot rim with some minor glaze imperfections and staining. Bottle appears free from cracks or restoration. Some wear to the decoration but otherwise good.
