Alfred George Wright (British, 1875-1951), 'A Jersey Mill'. * pen and ink, signed and dated '1930' lower right, titled lower left, framed. * 11 x 7¾in. (27.9 x 19.7cm.). * * Alfred George Wright lived in Jersey after around 1905 and taught art at various schools in the island. He painted many scenes of Jersey and is best known for his monumental oil painting of the Visit of George V and Queen Mary to the States Chamber on 12th July 1921 which took him two years to complete.. *
